  • Dolor (pain)
  • Calor (heat)
  • Rubor (redness)
  • Tumor (swelling)
  • Functio laesa (loss of function)

Inflammation may also be associated with general flu-like symptoms including:
  • Fever.
  • Chills.
  • Fatigue/loss of energy.
  • Headaches.
  • Loss of appetite.
  • Muscle stiffness.
