colicystitis

Cholicystitis:-

inflammation of the gallbladder it occurs when the gall stone stuck in the opening  of  gallbladder

Causes:-

• gall  stone 
• tumor
• bile duct blockage
• other risk factors:-
• who are at hormone herapy
• coronary artery disease
• hyperlipidemia 
• obesity
• old age
• pregnancy
• rapid weight loss or weight gain
• diabetes
•  

Sign and Symptoms

• fever
• nausea 
• severe pain
• right upper abdominal pain

Diagnosis

• FBC (full blood count)
• C reactive protein
• CT Scan abdomen
• Right upper quqdrant ultrasound
